Have you ever been hurt before? Stupid question, right? We've all be hurt in one way or another in our lifetimes.

Sometimes, the people in our lives do things that hurt us. They say things that hurt our feelings. Maybe they talk to others about us when we're not there.

All of this snowballs into making you feel betrayed, hurt, and forgotten. Abandoned. Left to feel only pain.

Christ knows how you feel. He was sentenced to die, and was in such agony that He knelt in the Garden of Gethsemane and sweat blood. His closest friends fell asleep and weren't there for Him in His worst hours of need.

Jesus knows how sad you are. How hurt you are. How betrayed you feel. How justified your anger is.

Guess what? It's Holy Week, the holiest, most important week of the year! Go to Jesus and let Him know how you're feeling. He understands!

  I'm turning 31 tomorrow. What has my 30th year of life been like? I'll tell you. I spent months in bed. I had pushed myself so hard for so long that this was all I could do. I received many treatments from multiple mental health professionals that were ineffective and damaging. Friends reached out to me and helped out during my darkest times. I advocated for myself and obtained an ADHD diagnosis. Movie Review: Joan of Arc

The 1948 version of Joan of Arc with Ingrid Bergman is an excellent movie, and is also pretty family-friendly. I admire Ingrid Bergman's great acting abilities. She can cry on cue, and shows great emotion at every moment she is focused on. Joan is a fourteen year old girl who is hearing voices from Heaven. She is supposed to lead God's Army against Orleans and crown the Dauphin, Charles VII, as King of France. She does succeed in conquering Orleans. When her army prepares to march against Paris, King Charles sells his country to England. Unfortunately, Joan is then arrested, sold, and subjected to horrible trials that are political, though she is accused of being a heretic and a witch. She was only doing the will of God. There were a couple of faults in this movie. For example, Joan's hair should have grown if she was really on trial for five months. Celebrities Use It, Why Should I?

Yesterday I was shopping and I was noticing that there were a great abundance of products that had celebrities' pictures on them. This is nothing new. But it struck me with new force that their only intent is to get us, the consumers, to buy what the celebrity's face is on. Why is their face on it? Their name? Do they actually use it? Do they know if it's a good product? Or is it just to get us to put it in our cart? I think that the latter is true. Why should I buy something just because a celebrity's name and face is on it? Do you realize that those pictures have been edited? Nobody actually looks that perfect, and you won't either, just because you use that particular product. Nobody is going to look like them, because no one is computer-edited and generated in real life. I realize that I am asking a lot of questions here, but maybe you should consider doing that when you shop. Ask questions. Why do you want to buy this? Is it really all that it says it is? I
