The season's metallic shadows start off subtly -- a single layer is ideal for day -- and intensify easily with an extra coat or two, says celebrity makeup artists Julianne Kay. Either way, all attention should be on your eyes, so don't let another feature upstage them.
What You'll Need
All it takes is 10 minutes and five "ingredients" to get this look. You'll need 1 tube eyeshadow primer, 1 metallic eye shadow, 1 cream cheek color and black mascara and neutral lipgloss for garnish.

Step 1
Prime your lids. Metallics can get crepey quickly, but a good base coat will help keep the color smooth. Try Too Faced Shadow Insurance.
Step 2
Swipe on your shadow -- and for more drama at night, dampen your fingertip or brush first. But if you're using a cream shadow skip the added moisture in favor of more layers.
Step 3 & 4
Blend a dot of blush into each cheek. Add mascara and gloss to taste.
One tip is to make sure that your braids are loose. They are certainly in style! I also found this look in Verily Magazine (http://verilymag.com/).
Enjoy your new look for Fall!
